I have been going to see Emily with my daughter every week at Rake, for a Pilates class, since October 2019. We have thoroughly enjoyed the classes and it has helped us a lot, as we both have various aches and pains. So when the lockdown started, I was very pleased Emily started up her classes on line. This means my daughter and I are able to continue to improve and we find it is so helpful to get  some exercise. It is the highlight of our week.

I first started 1:2 Pilates classes with Emily Moss back in September 2019 alongside my Mum. We had classes every week at Emily's studio. Both myself and my Mum found it very useful and relieving for our ranges of physical aches and pains as well as most enjoyable. Since the end of March 2020 and lock down, Emily approached both myself and my Mum to suggest continuing our Pilates classes online and sent us a link to do this virtually on a video call. Considering my Mum from her home is not technically advanced and I have a very old laptop from my home this worked tremendously well. We continue our Pilates classes online just as successfully as face to face classes. Emily is very clear and informative with directions on moves and positions. It's very helpful with Emily's consistent approach to the online class which in turn reminds us of the correct movements from our face to face classes. Myself and my Mum enjoys our online Pilates and find them so useful at the time when we are at our least physically active. So much so that we have increased our classes to twice a week. Emily adheres to the same principles of her face to face classes as well as her professionalism. To which we are truly thankful.

Initially, sought treatment for an injury suffered at the Gladiator Ironman in 2016 which Emily was able to treat successfully. Subsequently, I attended Emily's practice on a regular basis as part of an ongoing regime of maintenance to ensure my training for the 2017 Lakesman Ironman could proceed injury free. Emily tailored my treatment to take account of my injury history, the specific demands of triathlon in terms of the disciplines and volume and providing a protocol of exercises to do between treatments. I am very grateful for the expertise and skill employed by Emily and would credit her as significantly contributing to my finishing 28th overall and 5th in my Age Group in a time of 11:11:05 beating my previous PB by over an hour. I have no hesitation in recommending Emily's practice for the treatment of sports injuries.
